  What those terrible worldly people are doing

  yesterday there was a horrific crash on a bridge here in seattle.

  a dukw (wwii amphibious truck) tourist cruise lost control and hit a charter bus full of exchange students head on.

  four dead and about a dozen seriously wounded, many more in less critical condition.yesterday, canlis restaurant, located near the scene and one of the most exclusive eateries in seattle, closed for the first time in its 65 year history and sent out its staff with food for the first responders.

  i asked if the new britain branch construction had stopped, and i was told that "the governing body instructed us to cease all work on the project.".

  "earthquakes" in one place after another!.

  Not everyone may have believed the info that the shutdown was upon them. Might be in denial. Or one operator thought it was still hush hush. Could be one was rouge and pissed about it or still in shock, Who knows? Too much evidence that construction is at a halt.

  the instructions for the new meeting entitled "our christian life and ministry meeting" indicate an interactive portion that takes little preparation and a great deal of media involved components, demonstrations and instruction.

  i am sure not all congregations are setup for all the video feeds, especially in developing nations.

  will this divide cause jealousy and strife within congregations and branches as the lag continues?.

I am sure not all congregations are setup for all the video feeds, especially in developing nations. Will this divide cause jealousy and strife within congregations and branches as the lag continues?

  The dumbing down has met epic proportions. A coloring book for adults? Glad I missed it. How do you see the effect of all this hype? Is it only entertainment to keep them coming?

  Latest rumor - all WT construction "suspended", except for Warwick

  heard 4th-hand, but from a full-on believer, so not likely to be an "apostate lie":.

  apparently, at bethel's morning worship this morning, it was announced that all worldwide wts construction is "suspended" for an indefinite time, except for the new world headquarters at warwick.. also, the "relocation" of remote translating teams is also suspended.. finally, there will be a "worldwide" reduction in bethel personnel.. all this came to me in a non-english language, and,as noted, 4th-hand.

  so it is possible something may have been lost in translation and/or in the multiple steps between bethel morning worship & me.. but if true, it would be quite stunning.

  there were many addressed to me.

  for example, i once had a sister tell me i was gambling because i liked playing skill crane (the machine where you have to try to pick up prizes like stuffed animals) at the arcade.

  i then fired back a her: "you saw the r-rated movie 'backdraft.

  I was a low budget pioneer. I had worked part time, was an MS who gave talks out of town and even a part on the circuit assembly! I lived on nothing and simply relied on Jehoober to take care of my sustenance and covering. Of course I worked but always bought used clothes, suits etc. The PO, who shopped at Macy's once approached me and counseled me that my suit wasn't nice enough to be on the platform as I was. I asked, "You really think so?" He said, "Yes". I mentioned that he could really help me solve the problem and I would appreciate it. If you buy me a suit at Macy's then you will be happy and my problem will be solved. Until then, shut up about it." He was a real bag of feces. The Circuit Overseer had no problem with my attire, he used me all the time. I think jealousy was the real issue with mister "wannabe important in the Circuit".

  the reaction to it was quite negative but i have to admit that the title of that thread was intriguing to me.

  The stipend was hush money. I would refuse it too. Ray was covering his ass more than conspiring to take over for his uncle. I think its a grand theory but I get the sense from his book CoC and videos of him giving talks on YouTube in Europe that he was not in any way seeking status or prominence. His writing for the Aid book was not original or revelatory, it was a well quoted exposition on the subjects at hand and in that way it refuted Uncle Freddy's wacky doctrines. He took the letters because they were his but he also was covering his ass. There is nothing worse than being accused of bullshit and not having a powerful response to defend yourself. I think that's what he did and he knew firsthand how vicious the GB can be. He probably wanted out and not to be associated with their crimes any longer.

  I saw a picture of Ahmed in his home next to a circuit board. I don't know if the clock looked anything like it, but if it did it didn't look like a clock. A moron could imagine it was something else. That having been said, why arrest him? Why not just examine the device and confirm it as a threat before panicking? "Why shucks it weren't no ISIS threat after all".
